RC had a store steamboat dinner and i couldnt make it... they had lots of fun... guess i'm just not part of it anymore..

I'm baccckkkkkkkkay, back in Singapore after a whole week of hiatus... well almost a week but i'm back...
where did i go?...
good old sunny Tioman!!!
and yea, i'm darker then normal... hahahaa
burnt i think but they are not showing it yet...
and i lurver every moment of my time there esp... hahahahahaa
so wat did i do over there?
a lot of things!!!!!!
scuba diving, swimming, building sandcastles, swimming, getting burnt, swimming, "trekking", more burnt and lots more.. hahaha
let me spilt it for you..
Day 1reached Mersing at bout 1130. had lunch while waiting for the other vans to arrive. took ferry to Kg Genting which is the place where we will be staying.. ferry ride lasted plus/minus 2 hrs.. reached our chalet at 1630. had a quick rest at teh canteen, went to check into our chalet then few minutes later, was out in the sea... swam with the fishes nearby before calling it a day as it was 1845.. need to wash up after a long day..
water was freezing cold as it came from the waterfall out there.. but it wasnt that bad cuz it was so hot out there.. had our dinner, buffet style... we had asam pedas, sambal goreng, fish and watermelons.. then after dinnner decided to check out the rest of the kampung which was like bout 500m away from the place we were at which is the Idaman Beach Holiday resort... pictures will be outt soon aite.. just bear with me witout the pics..
so trekked through the walkway and it was blardy dark.. even with our torchlights, it was still dark.. lucky for us, one of the villagers walked with us and yea, he didnt need to use any light.. so he took us and walked us to the other side.. then we walked back home..
decided to star gazing since there were a lot of stars in the sky... it was like woah... and i saw my first shooting star!! it was ironic cuz Abg Ian was telling me to just focus to the sky and you will see one and when he pointed to the sky, the 2 of us just saw it happened..
yea.. i wish for something... hahahaa.. then we were talking and talking till the kids went to sleep..
and since we brought a whole lot of goodies, we decided to have out nyte snack.. had Milo and coffee and some Oreos and Hit biscuits and Ritz cookies then went off to bed..
kay i'll stop here.. in case my computer break down or watsoever as long as i dun have to re-type this entry..

I'm baccckkkkkkk (Part II)Day 2woke up to the sound of the waves crashing... ya like real... but the waves were crashing.. hahaha
kay i woke up and i found myself alone in the room... my parents ditched me! quickly got up and washed myself up.. then joined them by the beach.. it was a nice feeling... no hustle or bustle of the city life.. just peace and quiet.. apart from the crashing of the waves and the sound of the speed boats passing by... had breakfast and soon we were off for our activities...
changed into my swimming attire and got hold of all my gears.. really... then of course, i learnt my lesson on my first trip so i rented a lifejacket.. yea, i may be a swimmer but i'm not that good and furthermore itz the ocean not East Coast.. neway got on board our boat and off we go to Pulau Renggis... itz an tiny weeny island in the middle of the sea and bout 1/2 hr later, i was out in the open sea with my mask and my pipe and my trusty lifejacket..
something happened when we were in the sea.. apparently, my dad's pipe was not properly attached to the mask so somehow, it dropped into the sea.. our boatman told him bout it actually.. dad tried to retrive it but he couldnt cuz he said he got a minor cramps and dad turned to Abg Ian and told him to retrieve it but Abg Ian was also wearing a lifejacket and it was such a hassle to take it off and he had that looked on his face that goes, "Wha?".. then of the guys was all ready to dive into the sea.. he asked where was the pipe and Abg Ian just pointed to the sea bed.. and he dived witout ANYTHING apart from his shorts lah... (wat were you thinking? ;) ) he just dive and went up for a while to ask where was the pipe again and then he went in.. Abg Ian even managed to see the whole thing again cuz he wanted to see how he went to retrive the pipe and mind you, it was deep.. bout 3 storey high..
and he wasnt wearing any goggle or wat.. and Abg Md Nor was complaining bout his eyes cuz it was stinging when you get salt water into your eyes.. that irritating feeling.. i was impressed with the diver.. that was wat we decided to call him after the whole incident.. hahahaha
and then since the kids were not allowed to go down to the sea, he actually caught a clown fish and put it into the bottle..
wat is a clown fish? do you noe Nemo? yea... he caught Nemo for them... easily... hahahaa
tell you wat i saw in the sea... it was so beautiful with the fishes swimming around you and your mum throwing Oreos to make them be around you.. it was amazing... it was better than my first time.. and the corals were red and alive and the fishes were colourful.. i even named one of them "Padelpop fish" after the ice-cream.. heheh...
then dad took me further in where the corals were more and more big fishes.. and it was a sight... it was like a big aquarium.. a huge one.. it was like wow...
neway, time was up and we went to another place.. the Marine Park.. the fishes here were a bit bigger and they come to you like bees to honey if you were holding a piece of breadstick.. and they were fun lah.. apart from the sea urchins that were lying around.. had to be careful not to step on them..
then we had our lunch which was packed for us earlier on.. had them on the jetty and enjoyed the scene as well..
then last but not least, our trip to the waterfall at Kg Paya.. Kg Paya has another resort as well.. the Paya Resort.. a bit of a high class place.. itz bout 80RM per nyte... trekked through the forrest and reached the highest point of the waterfall... kay i lied.. it wasnt really the highest point nor the waterfall was huge as wat you expect it to be but it was aokay.. hahahaa.. i think it was more of a rapid.... but the water, freezing cold!!!! but it was refreshing... totally..
then headed back and had our tea at one of the shop.. had ice kacang cuz it was very uber hot... my face is stil red and it hurts when i smiled.. hahahaha.. had keropok lekor and goreng pisang which was cooked only when we ordered so it was all hot and fresh.. hahaha
then headed back to the boat and headed back home.. at Kg Genting lah not Singapore..
reached chalet, i gave up! it was hot and i was red so i decided to take a nap so that by 1730 i will swim again with the kids... woke up and it was 1730 but i didnt want to go anywhere.. i just lay on the bed and deciding to wash myself up or to head to the beach.. made up my mind to head to the beach but the kids were already changing... decided to wash up and just wait for dinner..
dinner affair was alrite.. the rest of the troop were back from fishing so they were talking bout their catch... oh ya! there were about 20 other guys but their main reason is to go fishing so didnt really see them the whole day.. but neway, dinner was nice and we had some fresh fish caught by dunno-who..
after dinner decided to just sit somewhere and chill... had nyte snacks and just talked with my sisters and my bro-in-laws.. decided to go and rent a canoe and trekked to the other side of the island the next day as it was free-and-easy day for us.. after a while, went to bed after a tiring day..

I'm baccckkkkkkk (Part III)Day 3morning woke up and quickly stopped my mum from leaving me behind.. but she did but i managed to catch up with her after washing myself up lah... headed to the jetty where Kak Wani and Abg Ian were throwing bread into the sea to feed the fishes.. the fishes were so cute and colourful.. i badly wanted to see squids and i gave up cuz it was nearly time for breakfast... then while walking towards the shore, i noticed the familiar figure and there they were.. squids.... with green eyes.. amazing.. hahahah then we headed back to the shore..
it was relax day cuz we didnt had anything planned... changed into my swim gear and headed back to the sea. decided to snorkle around our beach.. dad took us around and it was totally amazing.. the corals and fishes again.. then Abg Ian talked to Diver and rented his canoe for 15RM.. then me and him canoed around the beach and we took turns lah.. then after, we decided to the place we had gone on our 1st nyte.. this time around, we walked on the shore...
why?
cuz we found out some stuffs bout the trail we took that nyte... hahahaahah
neway, it was hot and i was red again.. hahahaa.. bought some stuffs for Kak Ina cuz she didnt join us..met Diver along the way and Abg Ian asked the way to the Taling Rapids. he pointed the directions and then we decided to check out a trail..
it was hot, long walk seh.. got bitten by a lot of mozzies.. when we reached the rapid, it was almost dry.. so we decided to walk back cuz dad told us to be back by 1300 for lunch.. the best part, we could have easily took the trail we took that nyte but we decided to bear with the sun and the heat and walked by the shore.. Diver was way behind us but he arrived at the chalet first.. hahahaaa.. guess all these villagers are just not afraid of anything..
had lunch and i was so tired after... Cik Musa, the guy who walked with us on the 1st nyte, asked if we wanted to rent a boat for 150RM to take us to the biggest waterfall at Kg Asah... we were deciding if we should or shouldnt.. i was so tired that i fell asleep on the hammock.. hahahaa.. it was nyce with the sea breeze and under the coconut tree.. hahahahah
i woke up and decided that since it was only 1430, we should just rent the boat before sundown.. but Cik Musa was not around.. since we had nothing else to do, we decided to head to the jetty and just fish... got myslef all wrapped in mum's wrapped skirt and headed to the jetty.. gave some bread to the fishes when i decided to fish for the squids.. after much failed attempts, i gave up and headed back to the room and have my nap.. but an hour later, i was up and was in the sea with the kids and Kak Suzee..
bout 1800 we were out of the water... then i decided to take the oportunity to bring Kak Suzee to the jetty since Syakir was asleep... we saw squids and fishes and when we saw the other boats have returned from the fishing trip, we decided to head back to the room and wait for dinner..
i packed my stuffs while dinner was being cooked. and since it was our last nyte there, they had a special BBQ dinner... we had rice, mee, chicken wings, hotdogs, barbequed fish and watermelons.. hahahahaa it was a spread... and i like.. hahahaa..
then after dinner, had our last nyte tea before the guys call it a nyte.. me, Kak Suzee and my parents decided to walk to the jetty since it was calling me.. hahahah... so armed with torchlights, we walked to the jetty... then suddenly, Ashraf, a kid from the village was ruuning on the jetty towards me.. hahaha i was amazed cuz he could see.. ahahahah... we were so looking for squids cuz kakak neva see one on the trip so we were shining our torchlight into the sea and finally i spotted one... we saw a skool of fish but we just ignored them cuz the main thing was squids... then Ashraf mum walked past us and pointed into the sea and said that there were a lot of squids.. me and Kak Suzee quickly shifted our lights and shone it to where his mum had said and it was the skool of fish which we had seen earlier on.. just that it was a skool of fish but they were squids... hahahaha.. couldnt believe it at first and afte much arguing, i agreed it was squids.. hahahahaa.. wat to say? they knew more than us... ahahahahaa
after that we headed back to the room and went to bed...
was really sad it was our last nyte.. which means i'm returning back to reality... hahahaahah Singapore life... meaning werk and more werk.. hai....
itz just so sad...
so how much is the whole package? 170SGD..
but the whole thing was priceless.. totally..
hahahaahahahahahaa
furthermore, Aisha called and said that itz been raining heavily in Singapore for the past few days...
and i'm all dark and tan... hahahaahaha
and i cant believe something else happened...
still cant believe it...
want to noe???
as always, for me to noe, you will neva find out.. hahahaah
i want to go back again...
hopefully it wont take me another 5 years....
next year i want to return.. hahahahaha

*Beep*my off day... weeee
so tired.. last nyte closing... supposed to finish at 1230 but heh i extended till 0130.. but kudos to myself cuz no shortage... hahaha but only a minor thingy for the Nets receipts...
so far so good on my training...
still think being a barista is so much more better...
oh ya! saw my regular from RC...Kevin... the 3 Equal Grande drip coffee guy.. he said he stayed around the area so he will drop by as often as he can...
tmr i'm doin opening.. then opening and more opening... then workshop with Mama's hubby and then i'm out of this country!!!! weeeeeeeeeeee
went to RC store meeting last Friday.. kinda disappointed to noe what state the store is in now.. but i noe you RCians can make it... do me proud kay... Nana, Liyana and those who reads my blog... love you a lots, lots...
kay, got to go and eat more..

I need a life..
my first buddy shift sucks!!
Man.. it wasnt you... it was just me
was so fucking tired... (well, excuse the language but like i care..) didnt do my prep-werk, the day before i went out of the store 12 hr later after i've punched in..
you imagine wakin up at 0430, reached work at 0630, you went out of the store at 1845 then you take 1/2hr ride home, you reached home 1930 and at 0430 the next day, you have to wake up..
one of the reason why i took part time..
two words... NO LIFE..
(no offence to all the full-time shift managers... to each his own.. salute y'all!)
(and i did my calculations; 24hrs-9hrs-3hrs- 7hrs =5hr of life)
bah!
and the best part, i took the wrong train home... was so confident that i stood by the door facing the other way cuz from Dhoby Ghaut to City Hall, the door side will change... when everyone is looking at me to get out of the train, i realised it was Somerset.... argh!!!!
and shortage... there goes my lunch and dinner... for next week... haii
still wish i'm a barista...
ahahahahaa

and of course, lucky for me, everytime i opened up my wallet or my handphone, i'm the happiest person in the world....

Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar (Round 2)kay summary....
think i'll be doing a summary after every race... just to fill my post hahahahahaa
dun like it, scroll down a bit faster.. hahaha
neway, the race started with Casey on pole... first Aussie to be on pole... ehhehe.. pity him cuz he had some drama at Qatar.. he was supposed to be flown in by Tuesday morning but he came in like 2 hours before FP on Thurday.. 4o hrs flight delay and getting bout 2 hrs of sleep in the airport.. the moment he reached the airport, he was droven to the track.. pity eh but he got pole so kudos!
then the 2nd in line is Loris and then followed by Toni Elias.. his bestest start in his career.. so kudos to him too!
then my man, then Dani and my Vale.. then the rest ar.. hahahaa
race started off fine with Casey leading then my man was behind him then followed by others... no drama like the previous race but Randy crashed but he was ok... then there were some mechanical problems with the Suzuki Rizla team with both riders entering the pits.. John Hopkins was really mad with his bike..
then Vale overtook Nicky then some time later he overtook Casey and lead the pack.. by then Loris overtook Casey and there were some battle between Dani and Marco.. in the end Dani won and got onto the 6th place...
Sete was alrite, no malfunction watsoever.. overtook Casey during the last lap so he got onto 4th.. Nikcy overtook Vale the last 4 laps but Vale overtook him after which was so sad for me lah..
why?
cuz the Vale camp was booing at me... everyone was against me... hrmph!
so neway, race ended with Vale, Nicky, Loris, Sete, Casey, Dani, Marco, Toni, Colin, Kenny Jnr and the rest ar..
hahahaa... but overall, good race, a lot of challenges among the riders but all good ones.. i like when Vale was talking to Nicky bout the turns and all when they were waiting to go on the podium.. so cute... hahahaa

Weeeeeeeeee (Part XIVIX)kay last nyte was alrite.... had fun at PS even though it was a new enviroment with different cultures but i'm getting get warm with them.. heheheh but everything is all good... Man did a great job in helping and coaching me... so it was all gooood so thanks Man!!!
yea so no toture... hahahaha hopefully it stays that way...
just now went to the health screening at SNEC... it was fun cuz apparently, we are not volunteers but subject and we were given priority to the test.. hahahaah.. went for the blood test where they took like 5 test tubes of blood from me then did the nerve test and some others... some experience... hahahaah but my hand is tired.. hahaha i think they took too much blood... hahah
aite then something happened on Thurday... while i was making my way to PS for their store meeting, a guy wearing a familiar tee caught my eye.. at first i tot my eyes decieved me but i looked again.. he was wearing a Chasin' A Dream tee!!!!!
kay you mite be wondering huh?
NICKY HAYDEN!!!!! the guy was wearing a NH tee.... i will be getting one soon ar (the order will be made and arrived just on time for Sepang.. heh) but a local guy wearing that shirt... at first i tot it was Brokeback but i think people do support him which is good.. hahahahah
i'm still selling his bands if anyone is interested...
aite talking bout the Kentucky kid, he won!!!!
so kudos Abg Nicky for wining the 2nd placing and for that amazing race.. even though you lead the pack just for a lap, it was truly amazing... i like.. hahaha
managed to watch till the podium but this time no champange thingy.. cuz itz at Qatar... respect.. hahahaha
i'll write in bout the summary in another post before you guys get pissed.. hahahaa

itz been a great week and i thank you for the time and fun spent.. even though it was a lot of places to go, i like it a lot.... cept for some minor things but you neva stop till i'm there..

Make me happy is YOUR mission..hey hey
so sorree.. so much for letting you noe the next day but neway, few days later, let tell you..
NOTHING happen... really... the so-called spring cleaning wasnt even clean.. hahahaa.. basically wat i did for my last shift was count the stock... the loose ones.. i did the retail wall and stuffs.. from the time i punched in (2000hr) till bout midnyte... then counted more stuffs like paperbags and take-away boxes with Dils help then had my break then helped out with a bit of the closing then decided to have supper in store itself... went to Bencoolen (is that how it is spelt?) got the food, went back to store and had our supper.. then that's it...
has some last goodbyes then shed a tear or two.. hahahahaah
was a fun shift... i was sad to leave but i had to... everyone was so nice and all.. hai....
Sim! didnt manage to say much to you but was happy to see you for that few seconds... miss ya babe!
ya then Monday went back to store for some unfinished business and lucky for me, i was at the store when Carmen called and said there was some change in my training ground... transferred to PS... so talked to my new SM, Kah Li then she set a date to meet up for my 1st inpression..
my 1st impression... hahahaah Tuesday... met up with Suzana from PG for our coffee presentation on Wednesday... after that went to meet Kah Li... introed the store to me and it seems almost like home... just need to get use to it... SOON!!!
hahahaa.. kay partners were all friendly... remembered some of their names already... there's Suffian, Fidah, then Sue who is from US, then there's John aka Sham i think, then there's Rex i think... hahahahaa... and Khai and his nephew... kay apologies if i dun noe all... but it was alrite... it was a short hour but i hope i do better on my next shift.. hehehehehehe
todae, class on Supervison Skill.... Miss Lam taught us... hahahah fun classmates i had.. some i noe some new ones... like Ana from PB/WT, Mie from VP, Ali from RC, Al from SU, Syawai from BP and Zana from PG but we missed out Debby... dun noe why she neva come todae...
neway my next working shift is on Friday... doin opening with Herman!!! weeeeee... so long neva werk with him... kay, i neva werk with him ever since he left RC for US.. so yea... he said he will be toturing me... so if i dun blog then you noe lah eh..

oh ya.. reminder... MotoGP Qatar is on Saturday...
